Dear Mom, this trip to New England is great! Bringing a Lobster was a fantastic idea - she's good for cuddles during the chilly Northern nights, and also knows all the great food spots! I tried maple syrup right from the tree in New Hampshire, ate a piping-hot bowl of Boston baked beans in Massachusetts, and sampled weird ice cream flavors in Vermont! The one thing we haven't done yet is the coast. Every time I want to eat at a Maine lighthouse-turned-seafood shack, she's all like, "Hey look, the birthplace of Chester A. Arthur!" and away we go, in search of another commemorative spoon! I wonder what's up with that...
